Hi Everyone - I'm really excited about learning some new things on the board and meeting new people who share my interest. I live in central Florida between Orlando and Ocala. I'm a new quilter, just a little over a year. I'm still trying to finish a queen size quilt that I took on as a first project and I'm a little overwhelmed on how to quilt it, and bind it, so it's still unfinished. However, I've made some smaller projects such as journal covers, backpacks, hats and purses, so I have been busy. Now, I'm midway through a rag quilt, which is pretty easy, so I'm looking forward to completion of this project.
I've bought a ton of fabric, which lately seems to be my favority past time. Is this what happens when you take on quilting? I feel like I can't sew fast enough, yet I have a great machine.
