Hi Marcie
Thank you for the compliment. Everyone who has talked to me loves this quilting board. I know I'll love it too. The ladies are all very friendly and helpful. I did look at lots of pictures - what fun to browse through them.
It's hard to believe there could be so many different types of quilts. What fun.

Hi Gail
There's a little story in how I got my name. My mother wanted to name me Jean, but the church wouldn't allow her to use the name. Being French she came up with the name Jeanne Marie, and I like that better!
Thanks for writing

Marie is a beautiful name. My dearly departed MIL was a marie, but she went by Louise. She got 2 or three granddaughters named after her, including one of mine, got it for her middle name.
Jeanne you must have one of the longest welcoming posts on here, aren't you special. Think ppl have a sense. Not that everybody on here, isn't just as welcome. We are a friendly bunch. After this, no way you are a newcomer, though. :D
