My husband was in the military for over 22 years.
The military treated our family like we were corning ware...
Freezer to the oven to the table...
I did tops in the tropics, and quilted them with the A/C on during rainy season...to keep the moisture/humidity down...
But did find that I needed a frame to keep them off my lap or I would over heat.
When our next set of transfer orders would come in, I was ready to return to the freezer...
But adult daughters are indeed fence sitters.
They know how, were proud of what they created, but are not "into" quilting as a craft...I think they are just too young to appreciate what they learned. Hoping they will want to inherit what I run out of time to do...
