    Welcome from Ohio. I learned to sew early too, I also taught my 3 daughters to sew. The all was in 4-h. But I also have a niece (like others here), that watched 3 generations 4 including hers sew. Her comment was why should I sew when mom or someone else will do it for me.

    My other comment to you is THANK YOU for sewing for others.
    One of my grandsons in his 3.5 years of life has spent many hours in the hospital and he loves the quilt that was given to him. We all make quilts but he likes the colors of the one given to him.
