Welcome to the QB from SE Michigan! You are in the right place that is for sure. Quilters abound here and Vintage machines are a perfect conversation. We even have group for the Vintage Machine Enthusiast. That should be right up your alley. I look forward to seeing a lot of you in these parts. Again welcome aboard!

Hi Ed, glad to have you with us. You sound like a do-it-yourselfer so I'm sure you won't have any trouble learning to sew on your machines. If you have questions, we are here!

We made the local TV news about how we moved a couple of our generators around to help folks on home oxygen. Was awesome to be able to help others.

Stay safe, and leave the light on. May have to come back home some day!
Welcome! We lived in Baton Rouge for over 40 years and got tired of hurricanes so moved to metro Atlanta about 6 years ago

Thank you again for the warm welcome! So in the past week I have purchased my upholstery sewing machine Consew 226, bought the National Treadle and was Gifted a Singer model 66 freshly serviced and tuned.

Lokks as though I better like sewing.lol these machines start to multiply....how does that happen?

HI Ed. Wow you made a big jump into sewing.. A consew. Wow. it ought to be able to handle it.

I live somewhat near McPherson , Kansas. There is a college there with a wonderful program in auto restoration. There is a mural down town with old vehicles, big tools an yes a sewing machine. Very important. I got invited to take my handcranks to a hot rod show and a pin up girl happened along in the same colors of a machine that day. How fun.
