Hello. My name is Dawn, and I love learning new quilting techniques and tips to improve my own quilting. I love making pictorial quilts from original photos. Recently, I have started teaching various classes at one of our local quilt shops, not only for pictorial quilts but other projects as well.

This is the first pictorial quilt I did of my dad and daughter.

Welcome from Iowa :wink: . I am in Ames. I love those pictorial quilt. Not sure how they are done, but will work on that skill as well. Where are you teaching?

I have been teaching at Ellen's Quilting Corner in West Burlington, Iowa. I will also be running a 4-week class during the Fall Semester 2011 at Southeastern Community College.
