    I'm orignally from Western NY. I don't miss the weather. SC is much warmer.

    Hi Lucymae, and welcome from western Washington state! I have not had a cat for years, though I would love one. I still find cat hairs. For your kitchen projects, maybe a quilted strip along some pretty towels, appliance covers, or even curtains or chair covers. Look under tutorials for all kinds of projects here on the quilting board.
