New Here - Hello!
I live 100 miles from town on a mule ranch and thank goodness for this computer and my sewing machines (during the winter especially). I'm a SewingMachineAholic, have been for years. I like to find needy machines and get them going again so they can be used. I just did a 'head' count (pun intended) and I have 17 at the present time. I learned to sew from my Mother when very small. My first machine was a Casiage from 1940. It was born before I was. I can remember sitting with it on the floor and sewing fabric, paper, anything I could get the needle thru. Why if you let a little kid have a toy like that today they would most likely arrest you! I never hurt myself with it nor did my sister who took over when she got big enough to use it. Great toy! Oh, Merry Christmas!

Well welcome a board, pun intended, LOL Your going to love the quilting board, maybe to much like the rest of us.
I also collect older machines and give them new life. Theres a place on here called vintage machines, you'll have to peek in and up load your pics of your machines. Lots of great people in there also and very helpful if you need something. http://www.quiltingboard.com/vintage...thusiasts-f22/ Merry Christmas

Hello and welcome from West Virginia--on the other side of the country from you! I too have never heard of a mule ranch, but I love old machines. I alternate my sewing between my Featherweight, my Singer 401 and 500. They are such work horses and make me smile when I sit down with them.
