Have been reading the board for sometime now and decided it was about time I "jumped on the bandwagon". Been quilting ever since I retired and loving it - that makes about 12 yrs. I'm more or a traditional quilter but love to look at all kinds of work that everyone here and elsewhere does. And like everyone else, I have more fabric than I can possibly use in the next 25 yrs, although after seeing the sewing rooms that some of you have, I'd guess that a few of you have enough fabric for perhaps 100 yrs or more. LOL. If I had the storage space, I might have just as much.

Well glad you decided to jump in the pool! Welcome officially. Its a nice group of people I have found and the subjects are all over the place which makes it pretty fun. I think that is the definition of a quilter.. too much fabric to ever use.. but look! they are having a sale at... just a bit more. I used to go in and just pick up a few fat quarters.. Fabric stores are candy stores to me. My eyes get so big and I need it .. a whole bunch of it.. why? dont know but one day I could use that!!!

Forgot to mention that all of my "work" is show on webshots: http://community.webshots.com/user/marletts and I have more to dowload to the website, if I ever get to it. I had computer crash last year and haven't had the courage to try to download anymore pics. Must get to it. Enjoy the pics.

Actually, Loretta, the name is "Stinky Feet" and I don't recall where I had seen it, but that is the name given to it. Thought that was quite strange. Anyhow it has been some years ago. But I made up my own pattern of it. I believe it might have been in Keepsake Quilting's catalog. So you see, I can't take credit for the name. LOL
