Wecome Eddie from Texas!! If your wife and daughter are into sewing you already have a lot of the lingo down, but I hope occasionally you will throw in one of those descriptions of "the floppamahatchie" so I can rub in on my husband that men do the same thing!!! Just kidding!!

Welcome Eddie, I love to see men get involved in quilting. Look at Ricky Timms work for one. We also have some men on this forum and they do wonderful quilting. Please ask all the question you need to or help us out when we are "stuck" and consider all of us part of your quilting family.
I live in Southern California just outside San Diego and we have a man in our guild who does some nice quilting and he has a blast at the meetings with all us gals. It is nice to get some male influence mixed in. Welcome!
