My name is Jill and I live in central Ohio. I have been sewing for many years and always wanted to learn to quilt. I retired a couple of years ago and took my first quilting class two years ago. I fell in love with it and enjoy it so much.

Thanks so much for the greetings and warm welcome. I found this site on Saturday night/Sunday morning when I was unable to sleep, so at least there is an up side to insomnia!

Oh, I looked at the pictures and they are so beautiful! I started quilting just two years ago but haven't taken pictures of any of them. Shame on me because I've given away several of them and wish now I had taken pictures. Oh well, I can't do anything about them, but I need to learn how to use the digital camera.

Thanks again for the welcome.

Hi
I was just at Walmart in Phoenix and the sales lady from the fabric dept told me that Walmart wants to do away with all fabric departments by December and replace with party supplies. She said that there was a web site on line (Save the Walmart Full Service fabric Dept.) and petition to Keep All Fabric Departmentst open. I sew for a living and thats where I buy my fabric. But I couldn't find it.
