It's always good to know there are kind hearts willing to help. Be sure she realizes that unless she has a Federal License, it is illegal to have a bird in her possession. Even an injured or baby bird. If she lives in Missouri, she can take it to Lakeside Nature Center in Kansas City. She can also threaten the onery kids with legal action.
