Hi and welcome from Nebraska. You've got a good friend at your LQS. She'll steer you right.

    You can see it here - http://rescuebytes.wordpress.com/page/2/ - and here - http://picasaweb.google.com/itsmeini...iltAndPillows#

I made this for my rescue group's fundraising auction this summer. I've made some single blocks for people who won't get the quilt and pillows.

Bless your heart! And thank you for the close-up. How long have you been a rescuer? It is amazing, and I am overwhelmed that you find a place (IN YOUR HOME?) for all those 4 legged friends. Thank you so much for doing what you do.

I've been rescuing fluffy butts for about 15 years but started my own group - FluffyButts Rescue Resort (www.fluffybutts.com) - 6 years ago. Right now I have 5 fluffy butts of my own - Tolsi (pug), Elmo (laziest tzu on the planet), Romeo (wussy yorkie boy), Kiwi (chi/yorkie tough chick and Romeo's best friend), and Pira (Great Pyr/Golden girl). Then there's Whoo - old, old yorkie girl who has everything wrong with her and will live out her life with me, Chips and Salsa (two chi puppy mill boys), Pebbles (lhasapoo girl), and YaYa (Chinese Crested Powder Puff puppy mill survivor) and I'm getting Eddie and Sophie (bichons from a puppy mill) this weekend. : ) I also work full time at The University of Iowa and am gone 11 hours a day (including a commute). While I'm gone, the inmates are running the asylum (they have a doggie door to go in and out). So there - now you know exactly how crazy I really am. But I'm a happy-crazy so it's all good.
