I found this board a few months back and just recently joined. Everyone is so knowledgeable and has such great ideas. I can't wait to get on and read every day!!
I first started quilting (and sewing) when I joined the quilt ministry at my church about 3 years ago. We make tied quilts for people within our church who have serious, life threatening illnesses. It is a wonderful ministry to be involved in. In addition to minstry tied quilts, I have made 3 quilts with bindings and a couple of tablerunners. My next project is a purse - so I am excited to start it. I will try and post some pics of the quilts I have made in the picture section.
Nice to meet you all.....
