New from Longview WA
All these years I'm been quilting, and never thought to sign up to contact other quilters on line.
I've been quilting for 20 years the last 6 I added long-arm quilting to the mix. I love fabric, being creative and sharing skills with other quilters. Just moved from Phoenix AZ, to Washington state in November of last year. So at this time I don't have any long-arm customers, but I'm working to get the word out. But this has giving me time to work on my own stuff. The question the brought me to the Quilting Board is: I'm making a mini quilt kit to fit in a wide mouth mason jar. Can't roll it up tight enough to fit it all in. But I have now read that leaving out the batting will work. So thank you for the help with that question.

I'm sure you are quite knowledgeable after 20 years, but I'm sure you'll learn many amazing things from the talented quilters on this site. And welcome from the beautiful mountains of western NC.

I grew up in Southwestern Washington. If you want any ideas on things to do or see, just ask. Welcome to the board. You will find friends, information, help, and tutorials to do just about anything related to quilts and quilting. Happy Fourth of July.
