I had this board in my favorites and am not sure why. Last night I googled quilting boards and this was the first one to come up. Thought I would look and then realized why I must have bookmarked it. It is full of information. I made my first quilt 35 years ago. A 4inch patch made out of old peices of fabric my Mom had saved from the dresses she had made. She was not a quilter but knew how it should be made. I made another one and then made no more until about 6 years ago. I stumbled upon another quilting board and started reading and soon had a fabric addiction. I have made quite a few quilts. The majority of my quilts are donated for the soldiers over seas. I am a string quilt addict. Love to work with scraps. They are my favorite thing to work with. I frequently buy rememants from fabric.com just to have scraps to work with. My daughter makes children's dresses and she saves me all her scraps. Guess you could say I am a scrappy person. /anyways, I look forward to learning more on here. Oh, I love Sunbonnet Sue, redwork and applique.
