The flood was nearly up to our door but more so around us as we are on one of the highest points on the Warrego Highway. The only suffering was not being able to get any where for food for the GKs I had staying at the time.Thank you for asking. I hope you are not near those fires I have seen on TV

No, we were ok, but the River Murray is rising by the day but they say we won't reach the 1974 or 56 flood level. We should be fine. How are you all over there with these terrible fires. Just shocking.

There are no fires near here only the flood. Yes it is shocking about the fires too. I think if only the wind would blow the rain clouds over to Western Australia and put out the fires out every thing would be alright. No luck so far though.

Yes, I agree the internet is amazing as long as it is used in the correct and proper way. For patchworkers it has opened up a whole new world where we can share and chat and have a huge show and tell. I love it. I need to get off of here now and again to do some more sewing. Seem to be on here more lately as it it just fascinating.
