Default New member and glad to be!

Hello, my name is Chevi Flores and I'm here in Central California. I am a mother of 3 and just resently began the adventure of sewing. I have already completed 3 quilts, 1 small one medium/large, and one large. I am very proud of my last one and also my first one. I made them for each of my children. As soon as I can get a pic of each of them I had completed I will be sure to share them here with all of you. I look forward to getting to know all of u and hopefully get tips on my new great quilting adventure.

Welcome to the Quilting Board, Chevi, from sunny Nevada! We're delighted to have you! You will find a wealth of knowledge and experience here, and lots of quilters who are happy to share it with you. We hope you keep track of the threads (questions) and chime in as well!

I think the best place to ask questions would be on the Main Quilting Post. All you have to do when you come onto the board is look for "Main". If you can't find it right away, go to "Home", and there is a full listing of all of the Posts. Then just click on "Main" and it will take you to the Main Post. There is always an area near the top of the page where it says: Start New Thread -- or something to that effect. Somebody help me if I didn't get it exactly right. It's obvious that it's for starting a new posting, which we call a "Thread". (Thread -- on a Quilting Forum -- get it?) O.K. so our sense of humor isn't all it should be! We do try to have fun! So don't leave your sense of humor at home!

The Main Forum is where you ask any and all questions related to quilting.

Hope that helps. Why don't you come on the Board and take a look at the Main Forum, and see what kinds of questions are asked there. That should settle your questions. If not, just keep asking. And if you ask a question on the wrong Forum, someone will point that out and tell you where to post it -- kindly -- please take no offense, for none is meant, They only want to lead you to the place where you are most likely to get your question answered. However, that almost never happens, so don't lose sleep over it.

So again, welcome! Welcome! We're delighted to have you, and hope we live up to your expectations!
