Hi Grandma G! Welcome. We love new quilters and also quilters with cats. Isn't it amazing how they prefer to lie on the quilt you're working over the one already finished and on the bed? I find it difficult to iron a top or lay out blocks with them around so I have to lock them out of the room at times. They stick their paws under the door hoping to open it.
Enjoy spending lots of time here. I do!

Welcome to the board from another newby!

I think you will enjoy this board - does the word "addictive" sound familiar? I'm finding help in a couple of areas I'm having trouble with.

Good to have you on board!

Last Christmas I finished (4 King size and 3 queen size)quilts for my sister to give to her children. I am now working on 4 lap robes for my granddaughter's family. When I learn how I will post them for you to find the differences. Thanks quilt for fun grandma G

Grandma G - this is what happens when you "quote reply". (see your message above?) This is one way to follow the conversation and post your response to something. You will see some of the topics are quite lengthy (pages and pages). For all who are reading the conversation - you might have commented on something that's on an earlier page and they may be several pages ahead of you. This will help all of us to know what your response is too. Hope this helps.

"Quote" is a new box where you can reply without anything else showing.
