OMG......... I used to work in Lindenhurst for Mc Neilly Realtor on Sunrise Hwy. They have been closed for years. It was right next to The Gaslight Bar, wonder if that is still there. I moved to Ohio 9 years ago however when my kids go back to visit they ALWAYS stop at Patsy's Bakery and bring TONS of stuff back with them. What Ohio calls cake/pastries NY would call garbage and that is where in belongs in the garbage not in my mouth. Patsy's bakery ships.........cannoli!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DD BFF from NY lives in East Islip, and DD was there in Sept for her wedding. My children attended school at St Mary's E Islip then St John the Baptist, W Islip. I am from Bayport before moving.

Oh almost forgot I was so excited about Lindenhurst, it reminded me of home as LI will always be home to me....

WELCOME TO THE BOARD.......you will love it here!!!!!!

What grade does your sister teach? How long has she been working there. My kids went to Bayport/Bluepoint schools until DS was in 7th and DD was in 5th. I have old friends/neighbors who have children that attend Baypot/Bluepoint schools. I wonder if your sisiter has any of them. What does BFF sons coach?
