    I'm 64 and a quilter since about 1990. I have started knitting again and find I'm torn between the two. I do mostly hand applique now and machine quilting. Not enough time to hand quilt everything anymore! I'm moving more towards small, art-type quilts of my own design now and loving it. I still find much enjoyment and comfort in the traditional quilt designs, though, when I do piece something. I have a Brother QC1000 which I love.
