Do you miss NH, or do you like Ohio better? Basically, I think the temperatures are about the same, maybe a little hotter and colder there. I grew up in SD, but have lived in NH and now MA for 41 years. Most of my family is in NE, KS, SD, and OH, so I don't get to see them very often. I'm going to miss this year's family reunion July 4th weekend, but if the quilting gods are with me, I will have the quilt finished and off to NE before the end of June. My girlfriend says I work better under pressure, but I wish that I didn't back myself into a corner so often. I think you will like this site, I certainly do, but I'm just learning about internet sites like this. Maybe you can teach an old dog new tricks. We'll see.

Hi I miss my friends from NH but my son and granddaughter are 1 mile from me. The weather is almost the same except the winter we do not have as much snow. There is way more to do here. They have so many more yard and estate sales and I usually find fabric. And last summer it was hotter in NH than Ohio. It is always humid here. I really miss the ocean but I take a drive along Lake Erie and pretend I'm in NH, Mass. At least I still have an AHL hockey team in Cleveland. Pat

Hi,
We moved from our home of 33 years in Litchfield, NH to Lowell, MA last June, and I really, really miss my friends there. I don't get out as much because of my arthritis and my husband can't drive because of his severe vertigo. I'm trying to figure out ways to work around my pain, especially when it kicks into high gear, but it doesn't always work. However, like you, our son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter Zoe live less than 3 miles from us, which is nice. James wanted us closer so that he could help us out more. When we moved here from Omaha, NE people kept saying that they thought the Mid-West had a drier heat, but it really is more humid there than it is here closer to the ocean. I never figured that out, but it's true. Well, happy yard sale hunting. Hope you turn up lots of great fabric.
