I have been enjoying the pictures and comments for the past few weeks and decided that I needed to join this group. The pictures have really inspired me. I have not had the chance to take classes, mostly learning about quilting from reading books and magazines and sites like this. I have made a few quilts, all machine work. I now have a new machine (Janome 11000) so I hope to add the aspect of embroidery as well. Plan on doing some memory quilts for my kids with all of those team t-shirts and add embroidered blocks as well. :lol:[list]

Hello, and welcome from Missouri! The world opens up with an embroidery machine! I have had my Janome machine for a loooong time, and have not tried out everything it can do! Hope you are taking advantage of any free lessons you got with your machine!
