We'll definitely be back in that area, if not next winter (we're thinking doing of VERY BIG trip then -- New Zealand), then the next. When paddled the Blackwater we joined a trip organized by the W. FL Canoe and Kayak Club so we met some real nice folks who we can contact in the future as paddle partners. We stayed overnight in Crestview which a website says is the closest town to the Shoal River. I'd love to paddle the Shoal. And I'd love to meet you too. Maybe you can show me your favorite places to quilt shop. :-D
