Welcome to the board from Ohio as well! Never be afraid to ask a question on here because everyone is so helpful. I love coming on here for inspiration and to learn from others. :D

Welcome from Illinois. I don't do hand quilting (I'm just barely managing to do the machine!) but I have seen the name Jinny Beyer connected with hand piecing and quilting instructions. Might be something to Google. Alex Anderson has an introductory book for first time hand quilters. A search at Amazon will likely yield some other resources. Sorry I can't vouch for any from personal experience.

Welcome, Kimmieb, from another Buckeye. Fraid I can't help you with the handquilting, haven't tried that yet myself, but would love to learn also. Everyone here is very helpful and sweet, and am sure you will find lots of good ideas. The search function is also great!
