Very nice job on the tote bag, and all your quilts! I'm sorry you were sick, but I glad you are on the up hill side now. Quilting is very theraputic for a lot of things. Welcome aboard!

Welcome from San Francisco, CA. I am sorry about you going thru chemo. But I agree quilting is a good therapy.

Thank you! I made the tote's quilt block after being told it was above my expertise level & I took it as a challenge. Then decided to use it as a tote bag. No pattern for the bag. Just put it together and it's completely lined. I'm going to fill it with one of my original dolls with a kit to make a nighty for my grand-daughter who is a new sewer. I made the pattern as simple as I could for her & am writing up the instructions as I can. I'm going to toss in some brocade hair scrunchies I made too. Not too bad for an appreciative 12 yr old! :-)

Thank you. It was quite challenging for a beginner, but it didn't come out too bad!

LOL! My hair is much shorter right now, but I can relate. :-) I'm learning to quilt as a grandmom of 15, 4 great grands and another on the way in January.
