My name is Nancy, and I have been learning to quilt for about four years. I work full time and attend college full time, so my time is very limited. I am proof that you are never too old to go back to school! I don't accomplish much quilting during the school year, but I am always thinking about my next quilt. I have been sewing since my mother showed me how to use her Sears Kenmore when I was about ten, and I can also crochet. I enjoy piecing, and I would like to learn more about free motion quilting. I am involved in my church Prayer Quilt Mission, and if anyone else makes Prayer Quilts I would like to exchange ideas and patterns.

Greetings from Illinois! I live in a rural area also. I bought the book on Prayer Quilts a few months ago but I we do not have a group at our church doing this at this time.
