New sewer/quilter
Hi everyone!
I'm fairly new to sewing/quilting...definitely a beginner. I'm working on a small quilt right now (as practice, but if it's usable when I'm done, I will donate it). I'm sure I will have a lot of questions. I bought a Janome Jem Gold 660. If anyone has used it before, my immediate concern is the reverse stitch lever. It works if you hold it down, but goes down at an angle. It looks like it should go down straight. I wasn't sure if this was how it works, or if it came to me broken. I tried to google it, but that got me nowhere. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
