Lucky you...nice quilts also...I'm on the hunt for a new machine...I currently have the Quantum XL100 Singer and I love it...truthfully, in the 15yrs of owning this baby, It has never ever been in the repair shop... I know VBG.....but I just took her in 2 days ago and there wasn't much repair to do on it...other than my thread cutter (which can't be repaired  the repair guy said it's still a good machine, it also has the embroidery attachment...so I will just set it up for that once I get a new machine..so on that note.....I have been researching and well in all honesty Janome has won hands down for me...I looked at both the 6600P and the Horizon...I love the Horizon, but the 6600P will service me just as well as the Horizon as I have a longarm....so I just have to make up my mind on one of the two......but I'm going to wait until after the new year or after we come back from Hawaii as we are gone for 5 weeks....

The biggest difference for you, I think, would be the free arm on the Horizon 7700. The 6600P does not have that. The free arm, lighting and the space are the reasons I went with the 7700 vs the 6600P. Enjoy Hawaii.
