    my first quilt was also a dresden plate it was very easy don't know why everyone seem scared by it you can see it and the questions on how I did it here Hope it answers some of your question.

    Your Dresden Plate is so nice. I notice you stated you wanted to do a wedding ring quilt i was thinking about a wedding ring quilt or dresden plate and decided to the the dresden plate. Have you started your wedding ring yet. that is my passion to do a wedding ring someday.

    no I have not done a wedding ring yet My Aunt bought me this beauitful patter for a wedding ring star quilt but it is paper pieced.

    I have not mastered doing that yet. the pic of the pattern is here http://www.quiltingboard.com/posts/list/1061.page I hope to someday be able to do this quilt

    i have not done paper piecing either that wedding ring quilt is pretty

    It is a lot of talented people here and i am a long way from teaching quilting..lol now sewing is another question. I just know the basic in simple quilting. i envy everyone here with such Beautiful quilts
