Good Morning: I moved to Florida from York Beach, Me. Lived there for 25 yrs so I am familiar with your area although I never went up that far. I know what you mean about addicting. I am a painter and have thousands of dollars invested in materials and now "fabrics". People are so nice and helpful on this site and looks like they have fun with swaps. I cannot find a painting site that is like this. I am looking to move to a house that is bigger so that I can have my now quilting and painting room.I purchased a serger 6 mos again do not know how to use it and to top it off I purchased a computerized sewing machine and it has sat in the same spot for 3 yrs (unused). I go back to my basic sewing machine. I have mastered Log Cabin quilts and Rag quilts but I want to do more. In the 70's I had a shop in York Harbor named Ragamuffin Corner and my mother use to call me a Ragamuffin at times that is where the name came from.So funny.Keep in touch with me and let me know how things are in beautiful Maine. After being in the warmth I cannot ever go back to the cold winters at my age.
