Welcome Cindy from Tucson, AZ.

Grab a cuppa and pull up a comfy chair, you'll be here a while and the people are wonderful!

Hello Fellow Texan. My husband and I are retired, empty nesters and also have a 5th wheel travel trailer. I've been attending the Houston Intl. Quilt Festival for many years. It's big, spectacular and much more than just quilting. I have also been to the festival at Paducah, Ky with quilting girlfriends and it was totally different from the Houston show. The whole town of Paducah seems to be quilter friendly, the show is much smaller than Houston but has a warm and friendly feeling. We hope to go again one day.

Welcome to the board!
And may I say, I'm glad you only have one husband!
Sorry....it just tickled my funny bone when I read that sentence -- I'm not trying to be mean!
I hope you enjoy the board as much as the rest of us seem to!

I was born and raised in Houston and I still live in the area. I live in Cypress which is really far northwest Houston. Do you ever come here for the Houston Int'l. Quilt Festival?

This is a great site.
