New from Texas, too!
Hi, I'm Debbie from the southern part of Houston. I quilted a lot about 20 years ago and then the kids came along and I went to scrapbooking and card making. Now that my youngest is graduating high school this year I'm getting back into quilting. I will start slowly but I always loved it. I work full time as an engineer, have a 20yo dd with emotional issues living at home, trying to work part time. My 18yo ds is trying to choose his college. He is going to major in animal or equine science and hopes to be an equine veterinarian. Dh is an attorney and works a lot! Hope to get some motivation here!

Congratulations on getting back into quilting. I understand having a child with emotional issues as my middle son suffers with PTSD after two deployments to Afghanistan. He has many up and down times, even spending 5 days in the VA Hospital just before Christmas. This is a wonderful site where you will learn many things. And welcome from the beautiful mountains of western NC.
