I hope you don't have the same problem I did. I bought a cheapie brother, and the thing lasted a whole 6 months before it froze solid, plus I spent more in repairs than I did for the machine in the time I used it. I know Northern Michigan is not a great place to find machines (I grew up in Grayling, MI). You might have better luck finding a second hand better machine in the Craig's list of larger cities in MI. Are you close to Traverse City? They should have some good shopping there!
