This if my first post after reading this for 3 years. Feel like I know all of you quite well. First I have been quilting for 3yrs on and off, mostly off. But this last January I lost my job and tried doing something every month. Really thought I would have had more done by now, but I had a bad bout with depression when my doc thought I needed to be off my hormones and lost 3 months of my life. Finally got him to put me back on them now I'm human again.
This site keep me from going to the dark side. Thanks to all of you!! I can't thank you enough for all the great hints you all have given me. Great sites for fabric, quilt wall made of styrafoam, thats how I glue baste, glue bindings, terrific idea, never had such straight bindings. The list goes on and on.
Will be posting some donations of scraps and fabric when I get to the organization in my sewing room. Will keep you informed. THANKS AGAIN!

Actually I have something in the dryer now that I was pretty proud of till I got it out of the dryer the 1st time. I made a quilt from a kit from Joann's with some chenille in it. Added a few more pieces and made it a tiny bit larger. Was beautiful and soft. Now it's linty and pilly. I'm on my 2nd washing and drying. I think I've had it with fabric from Joann's. I can not ever get flannel from them that does not pill.
