This is the picture. I really enjoyed this....think the colors made me happy~! It's called Sky Dreams from The Country Quilter. I didn't make it quite as large as the pattern, just left off the last little row. Anyway, hope I can get this to post...

Are you talking about the one I've posted instead of a pic of me? That is a baby sized string quilt. Used 5 1/2 " white foundation backing squares and left about an inch in the center to make the Xs.

Hi and welcome from Alaska. Where in FL are you? Friends and relatives there. Loved the airplane quilt. Have not done much applique' so can't help but I am gonna watch for posts regarding this as I am attempting some applique' since I still cannot sit at my sewing machines.

I'm the one who posted the airplane quilt, to show to ukdame who is wanting to do an airplane quilt for her grandson. I just finished the applique one I did yesterday.

Oh, I'm from Central GA, but was just talking to ukdame who is from FL. Sorry I got everyone confused....
