Newbie looking for help
Hello! I am a newbie here. I am a beginner quilter from NC. I am looking for the name of a quilt block. It has a square in the middle with four trapezoids around it. Can anyone point me in the direction of this block? I feel like it is something super simple and I am just missing it.

Hey there, I thought I saw this before in a different section. Maybe it was the graphic that was the problem?
Anyway, I believe the best choice for you is a Spool Pattern. There are different variations, here is one with the square in the middle and the trapezoids are made with a seam so no set in seams which is generally considered the easier way to do it.

I also know that as Woodbox when the square and sides are closer to the same proportions or Kitchen Woodbox is a bit fancier.
