Newbie from Orlando
Found this while spending time in Pinterest and signed up yesterday evening. I have been quilting off and on for about fifteen years, mostly off, only occasionally on. In the past few years I have been spending more and more time making quilts for my family and friends. I enjoy making wall hanging quilts also. I think I have finally "caught the quilting bug" seems that I have gotten to the point that I'm always looking forward to "planning my next project".
I am not familiar with this site an all it has to offer yet, but look forward to spending time here and learning more about this recently addictive hobby of quilting.

welcome from southeastern PA. You will really like it here, there are a lot of very talented quilters here and they can be a great source of help and ideas. Since you like wall hangings, there is a swap here that currently is called the Nov. - Feb. wall hanging swap. If you decide to join just let the hostess know and we have 4 months to complete a wall hanging. We have to let her know that we have completed our project by the middle of Feb. and at the end of that month she will give you a name and address of the person to send it to. You in turn will also receive one. There is no restriction on design - whatever you are in the mood to make, and size wise as long it is bigger than a mini but smaller then a lap size quilt it's okay. There a lot of other swaps that are ongoing such as the monthly FQ swap, the secret pal and a pincushion/needlecase swap. They are a lot of fun. Hope to see you in one or more them.
