Hello this is Sandy from Maryland. I have been coming to this site for some time now and have enjoyed all the beauty that each one has created. I just decided to join when I read the post from the person with the T.B.I. That just hit home for I too have a brain injury form an accident, two years ago this month, in which my dear quilting friend died....
It has been a tough journey back. But God has helped me each step along the way.
I am the founder of the Sew and Reap Community Quilt Project. We make quilts for Cancer patients, (I too am a five year cancer survivor!) Our quilts are also donated to Veterans, Wounded Warriors, Pregnancy Center, etc. Wherever there is a need.
So just wanted to say Keep pressing on even when you are told you can't do it. If you tell yourself you can, you will!!
Enjoy the simple things each day!
