Katy TX is right outside of Houston, which from Cedar Park is about 2-1/2 to 3 hours...depending on which route you take and how fast you like to drive. Katy is a way nicer place to live than inside of Houston.

edited to read: didn't mean to offend anyone living in Houston. Nothing wrong with living in Houston, I lived there for 6 years...but moving out of the city to green pastures is NICE.
