Hi Cheri,
My, there are a lot of quilters out there, I'm not one for the computer really, but so far this has been great. I only have a couple of friends here that quilt and understand what I do and why I do it. It's nice to know there's others out there like me. Have a great week.

hi and welcome for KY, I like to do both machine and hand work, also like to dye and paint my own fabrics, all fabrics in my mugs quilt are my hand dyed. Like to have at least one quilt to work on by hand, so I have some thing to do while TV is on.

Good job! I would love to play with some dye. I have done a little it's just finding the time to do it again. I watch quilting arts every Friday evening and those quilt artists are unbelievable they use everything to incorporate into pieces and it's all so cool. I have several friends who are fiber artists and they are some crazy ladies doing all kinds of things I would never think about!

Welcome from SW MN! I don't do a lot of hand-quilting, but I do appreciate its beauty. My late grandmother would machine-piece Log Cabin blocks (which she cut from templates) and then hand-quilt the finished top.
