Novice quilter from North Central PA
Hello everyone, I found this site this morning and am eager to meet you all. I've been quilting for only about three years; it started because I needed place mats for my dining table and was disgusted at the low quality and high prices at stores. Since I had a sewing machine and could sew garments, although it had been years since I sewed, I thought I'd give it a try. They turned out well and I just went forward from that. I'm still learning and trying new things and seeing what works for me. So many patterns and materials and templates and threads and videos. It's amazing I get anything finished.....

You made a great find, Barb. This QB is so inspiring and quite a gathering of talented people. I once lived in Wilkes Barre--worked at UnitedPenn Bank. Lived in the old Stegmeiyer mansion that had been divided into apartments. It was an amazing building. Fun memories.
