Greetings, Minniekat!
Thanks for the message. I am amazed at how friendly so many people have already been. This is my first Board of any kind, and I am overwhelmed. What a great intro to my new interest in quilting! Best wishes!

Hi, Sue!
Thanks for your encouraging message. 20 years--WOW! You are only 19 years and 11 months ahead of me. :^) I am SO looking forward to learning more and more. First I have to determine what is the best machine for me to buy. I am currently using a 1949 Singer which is totally cool...except the instructor told me that it is impossible to drop its feed dog (correct term?) which I will need to be able to do when I take the machine applique class some day. So...I am going to buy a new machine. Any suggestions?
Looking forward to our future exchanges, Sue!
Hugs back to you,
