Hello, I'm new as you guess. I'm from North Central Oklahoma. I've been in New Mexico fr the last 8 years, now I have moved back home. I'v been a sewer snce I was 7 learning embrodery, crocheting, and knitting. My Grandmothers passing in the 80's led me to learn from my Aunt how to Lap Quilt, luckly I saved every scrap and it has been put into a kalediscope patten. For the next 15 years or so I hardly touched a machine. Then my Mother was introduced to Quilting. The she introduced me. I was hooked, my mother passed 2/12 years ago unexpectedly on a road trip. I have been devistated ever since. She was my best friend. I am crying now as i write about her. I moved back home to be close to my daughter 12 grand children and Aunties. Who also Quilt. Like a quilt. It binds material together so do the strings of our family and I am lucky to have mine.
