Hi to all,
I have watched this thread for several years, and enjoy reading it daily! I have been quilting for about30 years, finally tried free motion quilting and like it, just wish i was better,
I have one step great granddaughter 6 years, and a great granddaughter, 6 months ols, and enjoy both.
We live in Wyoming, but winter in Arizona and have for many years.and I read the digest every day.

Welcome from Southern California. FMQ takes time to get your coordination matched with your DSM. Try following a line. You might find it easier at first. Just remember to NOT look at the needle but down the road where you want your quilting stitches to go.
