I would look on line for a kit and see if it has the size of papers you need. It’s difficult to say which size you need or if you need a special ruler. If you are a new quilter my advice would be to start with an easier pattern.

There are papers to size the HST or you can work through this method. You will need to adjust the square size for the pattern. This shows the technique for a 3 inch HST.

Here is the chart for different sizes.

I over-sized LC blocks and then trimmed down to size as I sewed. Be sure to starch and press fabrics before starting the blocks. Check your seams for accuracy so the blocks finish at the correct size. This is an intense pattern but just follow each step for each block. Good luck!

Look on Facebook for a group of Tula Pink quilters. Seems every designer has a group that forms when sewing a particular pattern. There will be plenty of tips from those who are making or has made the pattern.

I'm surprised that Pat Sloan isn't providing some of that information in her QAL (along with the opportunity to purchase supplies from her 😜 ).
