Welcome Sally, I grew up in UK many years ago. Have cousins in Farnborough. I used to love spending the summer hols with them in my early teens. You will enjoy the ladies and guys here. Everyone really friendly and helpful

Thank you all for your lovely welcome messages.
I won't be around my pc much today as I'm taking my quilts to show a local quilt group.
It's currently 6am and I've been woken for the last half hour by lovely birdsong. I love the sound, just wish they didn't have to start so very early :)

We have two baby red-tailed hawks in our eucalyptus tree and one of them is a noisy chirp. I know what you mean - but I manage to turn over in bed and tune him out. :D
