Welcome and looks like there are a lot of Northern Californians in the group. I live in Pleasant Hill but have a son in Sacramento , a daughter in Sonoma and another family in Humboldt county, all Californians. Our Guild does quilts of Valor as well.

Glad you found quilting or that it found you. Enjoy!!

Thanks! I also live in Humboldt County. Small world!

I also 'do' Quilts of Valor and it could not be a better place for me! I too am handicapped, at home, etc. - yet with making quilts for one of our injured HEROS, you feel as if you have a new purpose in life. A GOOD purpose! Welcome to the 'club' of people who love quilting!

You may want to also check out the site for St. Jude's Children's hospital. They also have awesome things they would appreciate. Way to go!

My son and wife are in Blue Lake and have been for almost 40 years. Their three sons are grown but went to school in Eureka and Arcata. I love the area and was up there just over a week ago and drove slowly through the Avenue of the Giants coming home. What beauty and peace. Best wishes to you and your family.
