welcome from indiana. If the hankies are pretty see through you might put a brighter color behind them and use em as a type of shadow box design. Just an idea :) Welcome to the board, we're glad to have you!

Have done several wall hangings with hankies - one with baskets with the hankie hanging out - one with overlay of hankies.

There should be lots of patterns out there and I also like the butterfly ones - very colorful.
