Hi folks, thanks for welcoming me ! Allie asked me where in Kent I live, in a small place near Maidstone called Bearsted. Lovely to hear from people spread so far accross the globe and all interested in the same thing, Quilting!!! In this last year I made a King size quilt, a wall hanging and a cushion, all hand pieced and quilted ,I am absolutely schuffed with them all. A couple of months ago I started on a quilt for my Grandaughter in lilac and purple, her favourite colours . At the moment I think I like to make quilts the best, but that will probably change with time. I am soo envious of all the lovely fabrics you all seem to be able to get so easely, my nearest town hasn't even got a quilting shop. I get most of my stuff from the internet. Must go and do some housework, so I can then sit down and do some more stitching !!!!!
